***Covid precautions: please please please try to get a pcr test before attending and take a rapid test day off. There's is definitely a surge happening right now. We'll have some rapid tests at the door. The dancing will be inside the Bike Church with a large door open and several air purifiers and fans. SubRosa is part of the Hub Community Center, in downtown Santa Cruz, CA which is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.
